Can you believe it’s April? I’m not quite sure where the time went, but I can’t complain. I heart spring time! Although I’m still wishing I was enjoying the lovely weather in Vegas, the weather in CT hasn’t been too shabby. With the weather warming up and the days long, it makes me want to spend more time outdoors. This weather also results in making a seasonal bucket list. I got out of work early yesterday (le gasp!) so I made a quick stop at the mall to pick up a few things before I head to Vegas on Monday. I was on a hunt for some fun shoes for my trip, but didn’t have any luck. Don’t you hate when your searching for something particular but walk out empty handed? It’s the worst! Although I didn’t find the perfect shoe, I did find some other fab pieces! Nearly everything I bought was pink. I’m not usually a pink type of girl, so I was a little surprised by my purchases. March is a tricky month in New England … it’s tough to settle on an outfit because one day it’s 30 degrees outside and the next it’s 65. That’s where pink comes into play. It’s the perfect hue to jazz up those neutrals that you’ve been wearing all winter, yet vibrant enough for those unexpected warmer days. So chic & feminine!

Since Mother Nature is a little confused and has given us some unseasonably warm weather all Winter, I’ve given up all hopes of Winter and think I’m finally ready for Spring. More importantly, I’m ready for all of the color!! I went shopping over the weekend and found myself gravitating to everything neon and vibrant. After a gray winter, a bit of color is definitely refreshing. Be gone dreary winter blues! Add some personality to your wardrobe by adding a few neon pieces. Check out how you can rock neon without looking like Gaga (although she is pretty fab!)
