Is it just me, or does time always seem to speed up when you’re on vacation but crawl slower than molasses when you’re working? I cannot believe it’s already Friday and already the end of 2011. Where did the time go? While I try to figure out where the week went, take a look at some of my favorite things over the past year!

Favorite Event: I’m still gawking over the Royal Wedding … Kate Middleton, you are simply fabulous!

Favorite Furry Friend: I’m lucky enough to wake up to this smiling face every day. Love you, Hope!

Favorite Outing: I’ve traveled all over the United States and to numerous countries, but Newport, Rhode Island will always be one of my favorite destinations. The salty air, young & vibrant atmosphere, and cutesy shops always make my time there very well spent.

Favorite Dessert: As you know, I bake often. My favorite item I’ve baked this year? Those nostalgic cupcake cones above.

Favorite Quote: This quote cannot be any more perfect. My family is everything. As expected we have our tiffs at times, but they mean the world to me.

2011 has treated me very well! Enjoy the last few days of 2011 and cheers to even better 2012!

Woohoo! Happy Friday! It’s finally Friday. After a long week of feeling under the weather, surgeries (my grandpa), and a lot of work that needed to be done, but I’m excited that it’s the weekend! Take a look at some of my favorite things:

Favorite Tutorial: Scarves are one of my favorite fall/winter accessories, and with this lovely tutorial you can create multiple different looks with the same scarf!

Favorite Decor: Ya’ll I seriously need to tone down my wreath obsession, there’s only so many doors in my house, and it’d look pretty ridiculous if they all had wreaths. BUT if you’re still looking for a fall wreath (before the jolly Christmas season kicks in) then you need this wreath.

Favorite Dessert: Making an apple pie for Thanksgiving? Why not jazz it up with a cinnamon bun crust! Such a clever idea!

Favorite Outfit: I love absolutely about this outfit! Perfect!

Favorite Nail Color(s): I need to get a hold of every single one of these colors. They’re so fab!

What are everyone’s plans this weekend? Anyone else braving the crazy Twilight crowds and going to see Breaking Dawn this weekend? You bet I am!

Woohoo! It’s Friday! And I took the day off so I’m even more excited. I’m looking forward to a relaxing day consisting of manicure & pedicures, shopping, and cupcake baking for my favorite 6 year old’s birthday. Take a peek at some of my favorites this week:

Favorite Decor: I absolutely adore these paper flowers. A wonderful way to add a splash of color to any space.

Favorite Flower: My favorite colors (and color combo) are purple green, so when I found these Queen Red Lime Zinnia’s my heart fluttered. They have definitely earned a spot on my top 5 favorite flowers.

Favorite Outfit: Really loving everything about this outfit … the colors, the style, the individual pieces..the whole package!

Favorite Jewelry: How freaking cute are these rings? I’ll take them all.
