Wow, finally Friday … It’s been a hectic past few months to say the least and it’s safe to say after this week, things are going to start calming down! YAY! Take a look at what’s been keeping me a float lately:


Favorite DIY Project: My heart flutters when it comes to anything rustic-looking. I think this little guy needs to be made before I head out to Vegas this weekend.


Favorite Decor: You have no idea how much I love the idea of enlarging a letter and framing it. How presh?


Favorite Daring Move: If I didn’t work in a corporate environment, I’d definitely dye my hair this color! So pretty!


Favorite Fashion Piece: I need this sweater! … and to be LC!


Favorite Shoe: Get into my closet…like now.

Ahh, another week done and over with. YAY! I’m ready to start my weekend! … Not ready to get my wisdom teeth out this afternoon though. Feel free to send sympathy cards and smoothies my way. Take a look at some of my favorites that have been keeping me going this week.

With the Olympics in full action, all I seem to think about is gold accessories. By no means am I an athlete (unless you count an hour of spin class here and there ;)), so I have to get my gold fix elsewhere. I’ve always been a big fan of gold and fortunately, gold is making a huge comeback. Luckily, gold accessories aren’t the same super shiney, yellow Mr. T looking gold that was popular in the 70s. Now, gold accessories are a warm, vibrant tone and come in all shades of colors such as white, rose, and even green. Choosing a different color of gold is a great way to keep your look from being too predictable. Adding touches of gold is classic way to add flavor to any outfit.

Happy Friday the 13th! Did any one else love that movie growing up? Back when LiLo was cool and not crazypants status … Anyway, I hope you’ve had an incredible week and today goes by quickly so you can start your weekend! I’m looking forward to the amazing weather we are expected to have over the weekend … minus the gardening I was summoned to do … Meh!


Favorite Stationary: Girlie? Check. Frilly? You bet. Most adorable thing I’ve seen? Sure is!


Favorite Dessert: I’m not a huge fan of strawberries (I’m not a real person, I know), but these strawberries mini cookies certainly caught my eye! I bet I’d like those ;)

I love four day work weeks! Really, who thought working 5 days and having 2 days off was fair? All I know is whoever decided on 5 day work week is definitely off my Christmas list. On a brighter note, check out a few of my favorites this week.

Favorite Hair: I’ve been swooning over chalk-highlighted hair since the summer! Unfortunately, my hair is too dark for it to show up. Luckily I have a blonde sister ;)


Favorite Accessory: Dear Kate Spade, you make the most precious jewelry. I want it all.


Favorite Shoe: I’m a huge fan of a great nude shoe and this shoe is nothing less than fabulous.


Favorite Dessert: Pretzel. Caramel. Peanut Butter. Cookie Dough Truffles. Holy yum!


Favorite Quote: Amen! Nothing like a delish cup of coffee!

Ohmygoddness, it’s Friday! Phew! I didn’t think I was going to make it through the week. Anyway, read up on my favorites this week.


Favorite Jewelry Piece: I’ve had my eyes on a necklace similar to this, and when I saw this bracelet, I knew I had to have it.


Favorite Product: If you didn’t know this already … well … I’m kind of a chap stick hoarder. I probably have atleast 25 roaming around my desk, bedroom, car, and purse. I know it’s sickening. I saw Babylips at the store the other day, and NEEDED it, but convinced myself otherwise. Well, that changed as soon as I saw it on in person. It looks so lovely! I may or may not have went to three stores last night in search for some babylips!


Favorite Accessory: Dear Steve Madden, thank you for feeding my neon in the winter obsession.


Favorite Quote: Always.


Favorite Dessert: Homemade snickers. Oh.my.god.
