Being the hair product hoarder that I am, you’d think my hair always looked perfect … wrong. In my opinion, summer is the best time of year -other than Christmas-, but my hair definitely disagrees. Being blessed -did you pick up the sarcasm? ;)- with curly hair and living in a region with 100% humidity in the summer, I usually going out looking like the cowardly lion from Wizard of Oz .. cute, right? Yeah, not so much.
After many trials with different hair products, I think I’ve finally come across some keepers. My bank account will be thrilled to hear that … it was starting to not support my hair product shopping sprees. These hair products work wonders on any hair type. Pinky swear!
I straighten my hair most of the time, but during the lazy days of summer, I want nothing to do with my blow dryer and flat iron. Thankfully, nothing defines summer better than tousled, just-off-the-beach hair. And, there’s nothing like an easy, one-step hair product to lure me into buying it … so I caved and recently purchased Philip B Maui Wowie Beach Mist. So, instead of layering on product after product in search of the perfect frizz free tousled look, try this perfection in a bottle. To get the look, divide damp hair into three sections and braid each. Unravel your locks when they’re dry then set your waves with the beach mist. It creates those perfectly disheveled, super model look kind of waves.
Although I love the effortlessness of the tousled look, sometimes a girl just needs straight hair. I gave up on attempting to straighten my hair in the summer many years ago. Regardless of the different frizz fighting products I would put to tame the frizz, as soon as I stepped out the door, the frizz appeared. I recently stumbled across a product that changed my mind on straightening my hair in the summer. I first discovered Moroccan Oil a few months ago when I paid a visit to my lovely hair stylist … holy amazing! Whatever your hair type is, you need this. Seriously, this is a miracle in a bottle! If your hair is dry, brittle, and dull, or any of the above then this product is for you. It transforms your unruly damaged hair into brilliant, silky manageable hair without weighing it down or making it greasy. It is quite pricey, but you only need a dime size amount each application, and it’s 100% worth it. I’m not usually this forceful but … I, frillyfabulous, demand you, reader of frillyfabulous, to immediately purchase Moroccan oil. You will not be disappointed!
